Scott Cresswell is a prolific songwriter, producer, arranger and musician whose work has already been featured on “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” and on HBO. His new CD, Souvenirs and Photographs, is a collection of alluring pop melodies and lavish arrangements. His deft abilities as a producer/engineer shine through the entire album, which is filled with keen arrangements and is sonically engaging. Cresswell displays a gifted and sincere lyrical hand, covering topics including loss, awakening and rebirth.

Throughout the 1990s, Cresswell’s talents as a producer/sound designer became known throughout the New York area with his involvement in the groundbreaking, independent, Grammy-winning film Bunny. Additionally, he has recorded the works of many famous literary and political figures such as Christopher Reeve’s Grammy-winning “Still Me” and former President Bill Clinton’s 2004 Grammy Winning Spoken Word Album,“My Life”. He also produced recordings for Jazz greats John Scofield and Danny Gottlieb.

On Souvenirs and Photographs, Cresswell’s diverse background and talents converge into a highly listenable and refreshing album that more than carries its weight from a music and production perspective.
